RCIA is the acronym used for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. It refers to the rites used to initiate members into the Roman Catholic Church. The process begins with a period of inquiry, where individuals become more familiar with the Church, and us, with them. A time of formation follows with blessings, rites and sacraments celebrated along the way.
If you aren’t Catholic, but would like to be, or if you just want more information on what the Church teaches, I would like to offer you an opportunity to learn more, and to share in some fruitful conversation with others on the same path. As part of our adult formation in the parish, I am also happy to facilitate the celebration of sacraments for adults, and for others who have been away from the Church for a while. Please call, and we will work together to find a path that will fit your particular needs.
If you, or someone you know, is an adult who has “missed” celebrating a sacrament, or is part of another denomination, or any other circumstance where they might be seeking to celebrate sacraments in the Catholic Church, please feel free to reach out, or encourage them to do so.
