SINGLES FELLOWSHIP 50+ “In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter and the sharing of pleasures.” – Kahlil Gibran. This quote is such a great way to describe our Singles Fellowship! We join together as friends to explore new and sometimes old pleasures together. Our fellowship is open to single men and women that are 50+ years young. You don’t have to be a member of the parish to join. We gather at least twice a month for a variety of activities. The first Friday of the month is our first gathering at St. Mary of the Hills in Rochester Hills. We meet a second time during the month for an agreed upon activity. Come and join our fellowship at our upcoming activities. On February 25th we will meet for Bocce Ball at Palazzo di Bocce on Lapeer Road just south of Silverbell Rd in Lake Orion. We will eat before or after based on the time we are able to reserve a court. (Reservations can only be made 1 week in advance). Cost is $10 per person. On March 2nd we will meet at St. Mary’s where we will have a short informational meeting and then enjoy our version of “Wheel of Fortune”. We will meet from 6:30PM – 8:30PM. This is a good place to get to know the others in the group. Join us on March 18th at 4:00PM when we gather for Bowling. You don’t have to be an expert to join in the fun, some of us cheer when we knock down even one pin. We will meet at Troy Lanes on Square Lake Rd in Troy. We plan to go somewhere local for dinner after bowling. Do something special for yourself and join us for fun and fellowship.
