Catholicism with Fr. Robert Barron
Each Monday, until July 1st, at 7 PM, we will be watching, and discussing, the video series “Catholicism” with Fr. Robert Barron. This is a visually stunning and entertaining series with on site views of the Holy Land, Rome, and other sites of significance. The series includes ten stand alone episodes, meaning that you can come for one episode or all ten. We will watch one episode each week, for ten weeks. No “homework” is needed. Our only “off” week will be for Memorial Day, so feel free to join us at any time.

Join Us For Book Club
On June 17, 2013, at 7:45 PM, we will discuss Mont-Saint-Michel and Chartres, by Henry Adams. In this book, Adams looks at the ordinary people, places, and events in connection with the construction of these great thirteenth century cathedrals. While this description might sound dry, I have heard of individuals who have read the book multiple times… a true sign of a good book. Consider joining us!

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Our Tuesday morning group is currently taking a summer break. Our evening group will hold one last sit and knit (or crochet) session on June 13, 2013, at 7 PM, before taking our break. Come join us.

If you want to help at home, feel free to create any shawl, approximately 2 x 6 feet, and drop it off to the main office, marked “Prayer Shawl Ministry.” Also, if you know of a parishioner who is in need of a shawl because they are facing a crisis, feel free to contact Peggy Casing.

Calling All Young Adults
If you are 18 to 35 years old, looking for something to do, or for some new places to hang, why not try the Agape young adult group? This group has an ongoing schedule of events, including “Coffee and Conversation,” small groups, retreats, special events, etc. Their full schedule is available at agapecommunity.net. Take a chance, check it out, you may find a better way to fill a slot on your own calendar.
